Thank you for this year!
We're still recovering from the absolutely fantastic weekend of J-Popcon 2024, with our sleep schedule still hanging by a thread. However, we can't help but smile when we look back on all the fun and amazing experiences we shared with you.
J-Popcon 2024 has been nothing short of a explosion of success, and we are filled with pride to announce that once again we have broken records! With 4,493 tickets sold, including 2,140 weekend tickets, we have officially surpassed ourselves from 2023. And when we count the number of guests each time they visited the convention, we had a total of 8,773 guests in 2024!
Having over 8,700 guests at J-Popcon is like a dream come true, and it's overwhelming to see the support and interest you all show us year after year. It is your passion and support that drives us to strive for the best, and we are deeply grateful to be part of this amazing community.
But not only did we break records, J-Popcon 2024 also marked the beginning of a new era with exciting changes. We shook things up and made major rearrangements to our layout to create an even better experience for both organizers and guests. Moving the main stage to the old Dealer Room allowed us to expand Øksnehallen, which now housed both the Dealer Room and Artist Alley and helped alleviate the overcrowding we experienced in 2023.
We are sure that these changes have been a resounding success, and we sincerely hope that you, our fantastic guests, have enjoyed the new J-Popcon layout, and found that there has been plenty of space for all of us.
J-Popcon 2024 was organized and executed by 54 organizers, 49 trustees, 16 photographers, 80 gophers, and 20 maids and butlers. All these 219 dedicated people have worked tirelessly to create the fantastic event that we all know and love. They have invested countless hours both before and during the convention to ensure that everything came together seamlessly. It is thanks to their efforts that we can consistently carry out J-Popcon successfully. Let's give them the big thanks and praise they deserve for making all this possible!
And finally, but certainly not least, we would like to extend a huge thank you to you, our fantastic guests, for a weekend filled with laughter, joy, and unforgettable moments. It is your enthusiasm and support that gives us the energy to work hard year after year, and even though we may struggle a bit with sleep deprivation, we always feel full of life and energy after a weekend in your company.
