Cosplay World Masters (CWM) is an international cosplay competition taking place at Iberanime in Lisbon, Portugal – the only competition of its kind in the country. It is a solo competition that strives to find a true Cosplay Master – not only based on the cosplay, but also on a spectacular performance. Here, you have the opportunity to meet other international cosplayers, represent Denmark, and share everything that we as a country has to offer. The competition has existed since 2011.
CWM is based on stage performance, cosplay production, and its similiarities to the original character. It is not just about what you do, but how you do it on stage – your performance is crucial. It's also about sound, light, the screen, etc.
Currently, 11 countries participate, competing for the crown at the finale which takes place each year around the end of May.
