Japanese whisky tasting

An introduction and lecture for people that have not enjoyed (Japanese) whisky before, or sometimes drink a whisky, and are interested in Japanese whisky culture.

The tasting and lecture is presented by Niels Viveen / Animecon in English, last about two hours, and maybe a bit more, if there's a lot of questions.

In this tasting, we will explain how whisky is made, the entire production process and when you can call the distillate a whisky.

We will start out with a simple blended Japanese whisky, and move on to the standard flavour expressions available, from sweet and spicy to smokey.

We will also tell stories about the whiskies and Japanese distilleries involved, and show pictures of them.
